Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre partnership that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an special katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Titan-based outfit for Yasuke
• Mikasa costume for Naoe

Newest Free Story Addition

This patch also brings the game's third complimentary story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
